WOLF CLAN
CHIEF SPIRIT OF THE WOLF
I am Don nia ‘Spirit of the Wolf’, Chief of the Wolf Clan…
I am very proud to be Chief of the Wolf Clan and to be part of the Northern Band of Cherokee Group…
The Métis Tribes exist because we are lost children of the past…
Our ancestors hid their identities as Indians…
Today, We as Mixed Bloods wish to keep the Indian spirit alive…
We welcome all to our group that have interest in the life of Native Americans…
My Clan does this by working together to make our Sacred Regalia…
We teach our Children to be respectful to others…
Not to speak bad of others, or gossip…
Also we are respectful of the rule of no Alcohol or Drugs…
And try to educate others of our Heritage…
My Clan is growing bigger everyday…

Cherokee Legend
”Two Wolves"
*One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people.
He said, "My son, the battle is between two "wolves" inside us all"
* One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego."
* The other is good. It is joy, peace, love, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, hope, truth, compassion and faith."
* The grandson thought about this for a minute and then asked his grandfather,”Which wolf wins?"
* The old Cherokee simply replied...
"The one you feed"

I remember the Rock Grandmother even though I was small.
I understand your words about the old ways are gone.
The fabric from you’re dress is hanging on my wall
And the things in life I will respect them all.
+
I know Father Sky, Mother Earth the journey you went on
I still feel you with me, as time goes on.
I will go back to the rock one day where you held me in your arms
And there my Grandmother I will hold you in my Heart.
